St Patrick Lutheran

The client

St. Patrick Lutheran Church is a Lutheran congregation based in Chipley, Florida. Like many smaller congregations, it kept a website to connect with members and share liturgical information, but needed specialist web capability to support its Lutheran church calendar.

The challenge

The church needed more than a visual refresh. It required a custom digital tool for its lectionary, the structured schedule of Bible readings used across the Lutheran church year. No off-the-shelf plugin matched the specific needs of the church’s diocese.

What we did

Website redesign

Gave the site a full visual refresh, updating the design across all pages including the About section while keeping the content structure familiar for existing members.

Custom lectionary plugin

Developed a bespoke WordPress plugin tailored to the church’s diocese. It displays the lectionary calendar, daily Bible readings and liturgical content, including Sunday designations such as “The Eighteenth Sunday after Trinity”, accurately and automatically.

Hosting

Managed hosting for the site.

Results

The site is live at stpatricklutheran.org with a working lectionary system.
