Ask The Pastor

The client

Pastor Joshua Sullivan of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kerrville, Texas, produces a library of video answers to questions about the Christian faith. The ministry creates content for people seeking clear, direct answers to theological and practical questions.

The challenge

A growing library of YouTube videos is only useful if viewers can find the right one. The ministry needed its video archive to be searchable by topic, so that someone with a specific question, about baptism, salvation or anything else, could find the relevant video without scrolling through an unorganised channel.

What we did

WordPress theme development

Built a custom WordPress theme for the site, giving visitors a clean, topic-oriented way to browse.

YouTube API integration

Integrated the YouTube API to retrieve the ministry’s video library automatically and fill a queryable database on the site. Visitors can search or browse by topic category to find videos relevant to their questions.

Results

The platform is live at atp.holycrosskerrville.com, with content organised and searchable by faith topic.
