Bloody Elbow

The client

Bloody Elbow is an online news publication covering mixed martial arts, boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and other combat sports. It is one of the most recognised names in MMA media.

The challenge

The site needed significant redevelopment. Its backend systems had to be rebuilt, and backend tools had to be properly integrated with the new frontend design as part of a broader website rescue.

What we did

Backend development

Rebuilt backend systems and developed custom backend tools to support the site’s editorial and operational needs.

Design implementation

Translated the design into working WordPress templates, making sure the backend systems and frontend components worked together correctly.

Cross-team collaboration

Worked as part of a development team alongside Terresquall and other developers, contributing the backend layer to a coordinated website rebuild.

Results

The new Bloody Elbow website launched with a rebuilt backend and integrated tooling.

Package
